CSM Worldwide Opens Office in Bangkok to Expand Coverage of South Asia Auto Markets

CSM Worldwide announced today the opening of a new office in Bangkok, Thailand. The office will support Asia’s growing prominence in automobile sales and production, and will serve as CSM’s ASEAN hub with responsibility for expanding analytical coverage in the company’s global automotive market forecasts and strategic advisory services.

Mr. Hajime Yamamoto, manager of South Asia Forecasts for CSM, will manage the Bangkok office and will be dedicated to supporting the company’s South Asia vehicle and sales forecasts and advisory service team. Mr. Yamamoto, who has extensive experience in the automotive industry, is the main point of contact for new and existing customers in the region.

“CSM Worldwide in Thailand will provide our clients globally with expanded and more precise coverage of the automotive market in South Asia due to having our analysts on the ground and operating within the region,” said Craig Cather, president and CEO. “A global team providing local coverage is a defining characteristic of CSM, and our new office in Bangkok is no exception.”

The office is located at the Servcorp Office, Level 8, Zuellig House 1-7 Silcom Road, Kwaeng Silom, Khet Bangrak, Bangkok 10500 Thailand. Plans call for three to five analysts to eventually staff the office.
